Shopping in Heraklion is a ritual. The locals usually go
shopping and afterwards enjoy a long coffee with friends in one of
the many modern cafés and bars in the centre of the town.
The most popular street, where you will find brands such as the
Zara Group (Zara, Zara Home, Oysho, Massimo Duti, Uterque etc),
Hugo Boss, Killah, Miss Sixty, Accessorize, Folie Folie, and
many-many fantastic Shoe Shops is Daedalus street starting from
Lions Square and ending at Eleftherias Square.
At Lions Square you will find FMS underwear, Benetton, Sisley
and KAROUZOS store, selling clothes & accessories of PRADA,
GUCCI, DIOR etc.
Dikaiosinis Street is also full of shops like, Diesel, Bershka,
Stradivarius, many jewellery shops as well as SD fashion selling
the famous Rosso disera jeans & Clothes.
For Souvenirs & Banks, just take a walk along 25th August
Street. There you will also find Hondos Centre, a newly built
cosmetics megastore, selling also Fornarina and Tally Weil clothes
and accessories.
In 1821 street you will find Prince Oliver, Intimissimi
underwear and Calzedonia, Bookstores, Shoe & Fashion
Stores.
"Kalokairinou" Street should also not to be missed if you are
looking for good prices and excellent quality clothes and
Shoes.
And of course don't forget to walk slowly through the Agora, the
Market Street that runs alongside a shopping boulevard called 1866.
Sweet smelling dried Cretan thyme and various herbs will make an
unusual souvenir. Red saffron is also a real bargain, but pick up
the fine strands instead of the powdered staff.

14.30, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 09.00 - 14.00 & 17.30 -
20.30. Souvenir shops are open all day.

after a busy shopping day enjoy your coffee or lunch in one of the
centre's most popular coffee shops like the Central café (Lions
Square next to Theotokopoulos Park) or one of the cafés at Korai
street (behind Daedalus street)
